The Real Deal

The fixture lists have been published and Norwich City fans know when the famous names will be visiting Carrow Road in the coming season.

A couple of pre-season games at Carrow Road also look really interesting - kicking off on Wednesday August 3rd with the visit of Real Zaragosa from the Aragon region of Spain. The Blanquillos (nickname) finished thirteenth in La Liga last season, so they should give the Canaries a real test!

Next up, on Saturday August 6th will be Italian side, Parma. There could be a bit of "needle" in this match because the strip worn by the Canaries in the 2011-12 season is manufactured by Parma-based sportswear company, Errea. And, in a video on the Club website, Norwich players can be seen "taking the Mickey" out of the Italian approach to the beautiful game, by inferring that pride in their appearance takes precedence over "getting stuck in!"

It will be interesting to see which players have the most mud on their shirts by the end of this particular pre-season friendly...
