There's only one way to find out - fight!

In recent weeks "Dad's Army" has come to the rescue, but Corporal Jones' famous catchphrase: "Don't Panic" has started to worry me more and more with each episode I have watched; because at the same time City have been sinking slowly but surely towards the bottom of the Championship table. Surely, it must be time to Panic?

However, on another channel, Harry Hill suggests an alternative to panicking with his catchphrase: "There's only one way to find out - fight!" And if Norwich fans don't want to find out what life is like in League One, their team will have to show plenty of fight over the coming weeks.

In this context it is reassuring to hear the word 'fight' being used by both players and the coaching staff as the threat of relegation becomes more real with every dropped point; but am I alone in thinking Bryan Gunn is actually beginning to look like Harry Hill?

Surely, it's there for all to see: shaven head; white collar; and now the black rimmed spectacles?

Fearing my powers of observation might have been unduly influenced Harry Hill's surreal humour, I asked my son, Nick if he shared my opinion of the likeness, or if he thought I was simply showing signs of becoming a "stupid old boy!"

After studying a photograph of Gunny in his Harry Hill attire for a few seconds he said: "I see what you mean, but what worries me is that he looks more like Adrian Edmundson!"

"Why should that be worrying?" I asked.

"Work it out," came the reply, "Adrian Edmundson starred in "Bottom", which is where the Canaries could end up if they don't get back to winning ways!" I conceded that he had point, which would become even more worrying if the Canaries didn't show enough fight to take all three points from the Burnley game...
