Andy Roberts - Can he do a "David Nielsen"?
Andy has joined Norwich until 26th February, meaning that he will be available for the following six games: Crewe (A) 29/01/02, Sheff Utd (H) 03/02/02, West Brom (A) 10/02/02, Gillingham (H) 16/02/02, Preston (H) 22/02/02 and Watford (A) 26/02/02.

Nigel Worthington said, "Andy is an experienced midfielder and gives us another body in the midfield area. With the possible suspension of Darel Russell, we're pleased to have Andy's services to help us out.

"It's somebody that we've looked at for a while and felt that if and when the time was right we'd make a move."

The tall 27-year-old is a former England Under-21 International joined the Dons from fellow Selhurst Park dwellers Crystal Palace in a £1.6 million deal in 1998. After recovering from a long injury lay-off, Andy became a regular in the centre of the Dons midfield in the second half of the season. A tough tackling, experienced midfielder, Andy is an important member of the squad with an eye for goal and found the target three times last season. Andy has made 18 appearances for the Dons this season scoring one goal in Wimbledon's 2-1 victory over Grimsby at Selhurst Park, but has recently found himself out-of-favour, much like the recently-signed David Nielsen.

Norwich fans might already know Andy Roberts - he played in our 1-0 win at Selhurst Park on 25th August earlier this season.
