Bryan Gunn's team of ex-Canaries was completed this afternoon when Ian Butterworth joined Ian Crook and John Deehan.

Butterworth, 45, left Hartlepool to take up the role of Assistant Manager. He has previously filled similar roles at Cardiff and Darlington and also worked at Bristol Rovers and with the Football Association.

As a player, Butterworth, a central defender, played just short of 300 games for Norwich and was club captain. He left Carrow Road after seven and a half years when he failed to recover from a knee injury.
