Barnett has, however, requested a personal hearing with the Football Disciplinary Commission after throwing a ball at referee Simon Hooper.
The FDC will hold the hearing on Wednesday December 22.
Barnett will miss the Canaries' trip to Coventry, where he spent time on loan last season, as he serves a one-game suspension for his dismissal.
