Brennan: Happy With Life At Carrow Road

Brennan has began to make his mark for the first team by filling the left hand side of midfield role for Norwich over the past few games.

The Canadian International moved from Nottingham Forest to Carrow Road but injury restricted his start to his Norwich career. Brennan did not make his first senior appearance until November. However, he is now fully fit and enjoying every single minute of life in Norwich.

The game against West Ham was Brennan’s 4th league start in a row and although he feels he should have won the game for Norwich late on, he is happy that he is beginning to settle in and that the more games he plays the bigger the impact he can have on games.

"Of course, the more I play the better I will be and settle in down the side," he said.

"I have started four games now so I have to keep going along. I am starting to get a partnership down the left side and the more games you play the more you are going to settle in and the more confident you are going to be."

Brennan admitted to ‘having a few words with himself’ after blasting a late attempt on goal over the crossbar, where he felt he should have won Norwich all 3 points.

"I thought I did, but I caught it good, too good," he said. The disappointment was clear.

"I had a few words to myself, but I can't tell you what they were," he admitted.

Despite this missed opportunity Brennan is pleased with the way things are going and believes the battling attitude Norwich showed by coming from a goal done against West Ham, is exactly why they are top of the league.

"There is a reason why we are top of the league; we are a good side, a hard working side and we keep our heads down," he said. "We knew it was going to be a tough game. They are a good side and have some good players and so do we and they wanted to win just as much as we did."
