Canaries back to work

Nigel Worthington put his men through their paces on Thursday as the squad took their first steps in what promises to be another long season.

The only new face among the ranks was first team coach Martin Hunter, who has replaced Steve Foley. The injured Robert Green was absent, as were Welsh internationals Robert Earnshaw and Carl Robinson, given extended leave after their post-season trip with the Principality.

City will be aiming to bolster their line-up before the big kick-off on August 5th at Leeds' Elland Road ground, with former Manchester United winger Luke Chadwick, currently at Stoke, high on Worthington's list of potential signings.
