Canaries can swoop on play-offs - Westley

While most City fans seem to feel that this week's resurgence in form is too little, too late, one man in the know believes it may lead to something.

Terry Westley, caretaker manager of Derby County, conceded that the Rams had been well beaten in yesterday's match at Carrow Road. The former Diss Town boss went on to state that the attacking potential of Nigel Worthington's side could see a late surge for the play offs.

"We didn't start quickly enough and they got into their rhythm and caused us plenty of problems," said Westley.

"They can go on a run of seven wins because of who they have up front for them."
