And today Norwich City chief executive Neil Doncaster spoke of his disappointment at the club being kept totally in the dark about a change in his club's fixture list.
The Football League yesterday announced that the clash would be moved for TV coverage yet failed to tell Norwich of this!!
They informed the Press Association about the new date and also mentioned it on their website, yet they failed to notify the Canaries who only found out about the change when the EDP contacted them for confirmation. "We're certainly disappointed to find out about a change to our fixture list through a third party" said Doncaster.
"One would have thought that somebody would have made a phone call to let us know about their plans and I'll certainly be contacting the Football League in the morning to ask for an explanation.
"I've spoken to Kevan Platt (the club's secretary) and Nigel Worthington and they knew absolutely nothing about it. It's all very strange."
