Cardiff Striker Signs

The 32-year-old former Stoke City striker has signed a two-year deal with City on a free transfer and becomes manager Nigel Worthington's third signing of the summer following the capture of Jason Jarrett from Wigan and Matthieu Louis-Jean from Nottingham Forest.

As part of the deal, Norwich will have to pay Cardiff £200,000 if Thorne helps them back to The Premiership within the next two seasons.
