Glenn Roeder's loan stars will have a crucial element of security until the end of the season with the news that Sven Goran Eriksson has allowed the Canaries to extend the loan of striker Ched Evans to the end of the season.

Evans' deal had been agreed until the end of February with a recall clause. This clause has now been removed and the Wales under-21 hitman, who scored the winner at Southampton this week, will now be a Norwich player until the end of the season.
