City get FA representation

As if he wasn't busy enough securing transfers amid talk of a takeover at Carrow Road, Canaries Chief Executive Neil Doncaster has taken on a role as an FA Board Member.

Doncaster, 37, replaces Lord Mawhinney following his resignation to concentrate on his role as chairman of the Football League. The league's other representaive on the FA Board is none other than ex-Ipswich chairman David Sheepshanks.

The Norwich man will now have a say, along with 11 other board members, in matters such as the appointment of England managers.
