City go goal crazy

Young Norwich striker Chris Martin reminded everyone of his existence last night with a dazzling four-goal display at Lowestoft, including a first half hat-trick, in a 12-0 victory voer Lowestoft Town

Chris Brown scored his first City goal, Youssef Safri got a trademark scorcher, Luke Chadwick scored for the second successive game, Kris Renton bagged a late brace and Robert Eagle, Michael Spillane and Rossi Jarvis completed the rout.

Several players who failed to feature in Saturday's defeat at Exeter turned out last night, including new signings Jon Otsemobor and David Marshall. The result will hopefully pacify the baying hordes following the loss this week of key midfielder Dickson Etuhu to Sunderland.
