A first summer victory could be on the cards for Glenn Roeder as Norwich are said to be closing on the signature of sought-after Luton star David Bell.
Sky Sports.com reports that Bell, 24, has been linked with a number of clubs including Coventry and Leicester, where he spent the end of last season on loan.
The Canaries are believed to have come in with an attractive three-year deal for the Hatter, whose club will be forced to sell because of their parlous financial state. No fee has yet been mentioned.
