Norwich have signed Newcastle youngster Fraser Forster on a loan deal to cover the expected absence of Ben Alnwick at least for this weekend.
6' 6" Forster, 21, has yet to feature for the Magpies but has played on loan at Stockport and Bristol Rovers.
Forster's arrival on a one-month loan raises interesting questions about the future of Michael Theoklitos and Ben Alnwick. Alnwick himself is only on loan from Tottenham, while Theoklitos has not been seen since his disastrous debut at home to Paul Lambert's Colchester.
Now Norwich manager, Lambert has only until Tuesday to decide whether to stick with Theoklitos or move for another permanent goalkeeper. |
