City to make profit on Brown?

A potentially very fruitful week in the transfer market for Norwich City may see the unlikely situation of a profit being made on a player many deem as having been a failure at the club.

Chris Brown, signed by Peter Grant a year ago from Sunderland, is expected to complete a £350,000 move to Preston in time for the weekend. This would represent a small increase on the £325,000 paid to the Mackems. Brown has scored only once for the Canaries after being sent off on his debut and suffering a twice broken nose after a promising pre-season.
