Delia and co to meet investor

After a quiet few days in which it seemed the tough approach taken by the Norwich City board to new investment might have backfired, wealthy businessman Peter Cullum has revealed that he is to meet with the Carrow Road hierarchy.

Amid speculation that the transfer merry-go-round was being slowed by the uncertainty, a rumour ruled out by Chief Executive Neil Doncaster, Cullum re-appeared to give encouragement to canaries supporters casting jealous gazes around the Championship at some of their monied rivals.

"Delia and Michael have had a change of heart and felt it would be worthwhile sitting down to discuss parameters," the Towergate Partnership Chairman and 40th richest man in Britain said.

"At this stage it is still just an indicative offer. We are going to look at whether a deal can be done. At least we are talking now, before there was no dialogue."

"I greatly admire what Delia and Michael have done for the club and want them to be a part of it going forward."
