Dion misses out

In the month that he announced his decision to retire from football at the end of the season, Norwich's veteran striker Dion Dublin was pipped to the Coca Cola Championship Player of the Month award.

Joe Ledley, who Norwich will face in Saturday's lunchtime kick-off with Cardiff City, found the net four times in january to win the award. Shortlisted along with Dublin were Robbie Blake of Burnley and Zheng Zhi of Charlton Athletic.
