Dragons in plane fright

With Nigel Worthington balancing his time between trying to bolster his squad and crossing every available digit that current Canaries return unscathed from international duty, the last thing he needed was news of an airborne incident involving his Welsh stars.

Midfielder Carl Robinson and top scorer Rob Earnshaw were among John Toshack's squad on their way to Prague for a weekend date with the Czech Republic when a cracked windscreen forced an emergency landing in Bournemouth.

Fortunately for the Principality and for Norwich, among many other clubs, none of the party was harmed, and the Dragons arrived in Prague an hour later then expected.
