Duo return for Canaries

Norwich manager Paul Lambert will have midfielders Andrew Crofts and Andrew Surman back in his squad for the trip to Scunthorpe. Crofts missed the Carling Cup win over his former side Gillingham in midweek as he was on international duty with Wales while former Southampton man Surman was left out with a slight injury. Both could return to the starting line-up as the Canaries look for their first league win of the campaign. Striker Simeon Jackson was left out of the cup tie in midweek as part of a `gentleman`s agreement` following his transfer from Priestfield this summer and may struggle to return to the side. Captain Grant Holt was recalled after a thigh injury and scored twice, as did strike partner Chris Martin. Former Rangers left-back Steven Smith will have to wait for his first start as he is still recovering from an ankle injury while fellow defender Zak Whitbread is a doubt after sustaining a problem in a recent friendly.
