Eastwood bid rejected

Southend United chairman Ron Martin claims to have rejected a £1.5million bid from Norwich for striker Freddy Eastwood.

Norwich and Wolves, who are also both in the running for Scunthorpe's Billy Sharp, are now both believed to have tabled seven figure bids for the former Grays man, who has publicly stated his desire to leave Roots Hall.

It is uncertain what Norwich's maximum valuation is for Eastwood, and whether the larger than expected budget will extend to both him and Sharp.
