Norwich's summer recruitment drive seems set to continue as Bryan Gunn and Neil Warnock agreed a fee for out-of-contract Crystal Palace youngster Rhoys Wiggins.

Wiggins, a Welsh Under-21 International, is set to provide competition to Adam Drury at left back, where Ryan Bertrand, now on loan from Chelsea to Reading, has featured on loan for much of the past two campaigns.

Gunn announced the signing of Stephen Hughes today and Preston's Simon Whaley is waiting in the wings. Meanwhile, Sammy Clingan and Darel Russell have both got one foot out of the door to Coventry and Burnley respectively.

At least one striker is also expected through the door, whether it be Wiggins' Eagles teammate Alan Lee, impressive trialist Goran Maric, or both, or others, remains to be seen.
