Paul Gallacher, in only his second game for the club, was hailed as the Norwich hero by the man who will grab all the headlines.

Record signing Robert Earnshaw's late double gave the home side three points against QPR after the visitors had looked comfortably ahead. It was Gallacher's efforts with the game seamingly out of reach which drew the praise of the goalscorer to deflect attention from his own matchwinning achievement.

"The real hero was Paul Gallacher in goal," said Earnshaw. "He put in a great performance on Saturday and another great performance today. He kept us in the game and at 2-1 down made an unbelievable save which kept us in it. It was brilliant for him."
