Norwich Chief Executive Neil Doncaster has assured supporters that the club are not facing financial meltdown and that money is available in the short term to bring in new faces.

Canaries boss Peter Grant has been beset by injuries and suspensions as his team have undergone a thoroughly disappointing start to the season. He is constantly being linked with loan moves for Premiership squad players, but has gone on record over his concerns about the expense and value of such deals.

Doncaster, however, made it clear that the funds are available within reason.
"We remain able to compete in the loan market with the board continuing to make money available for team strengthening without compromising the financial viability of this club," he wrote in his column in the Eastern Daily Press.
