Canaries boss Bryan Gunn is up for the Coca Cola Championship Manager of the Month Award for March after steering his side to three wins in their last four matches and 10 points out of a possible 15.

Gunn, who took over from Glenn Roeder towards the end of January, has seen his side pull out of the Championship relegation zone and hopes to move another step closer to safety in Saturday's crucial home clash with Sheffield Wednesday.

The former goalkeeper will compete with fellow former shot stopper Kevin Blackwell, now manager of Sheffield United, Wolves boss Mick McCarthy and Burnley's Owen Coyle for the monthly gong.
