On loan striker Antoine Sibierski may have returned to his parent club.
Glenn Roeder could be forced to change his big man, little man strike force after it emerged Antoine Sibierski may have returned to the North West to ease Wigan's striking crisis. Vital Wigan report that injuries to Emile Heskey and Egyptian sensation Amr Zaki have led Steve Bruce to recall Sibierski from a loan spell that has yielded two goals in nine games. Roeder today ruled out a swoop for Bruce's son Alex, who has been told he can leave local rivals Ipswich. The absence of Sibierski, an injury doubt for tomorrow's home clash with Swansea anyway, and the suspended Darel Russell will mean a chance for either Jamie Cureton or Arturo Lupoli alongside Leroy Lita.Has Sibierski gone back to Wigan?
