Helveg Going Nowhere

The Danish skipper has been the subject of reports linking him with a move back to former club OB Odense but the Canaries boss has played down these reports.

"That's one I'd like to put to bed straightaway," Worthington told the Eastern Daily Press

"Thomas has 18 months left to run on his contract and is very much part of our plans.

"He probably hasn't started as many games as he would have liked but he is an important member of the squad.

"He's not available for transfer, it's as simple as that.

"I can understand how these stories start because Thomas is a big name in Denmark and our profile has also increased over there since our promotion to the Premiership.

"There's bound to be a lot of discussion about him. But there's nothing in it, Thomas is staying here."
