Norwich became embroiled in the current controversy over diving when Leicester players protested against the decision to award a penalty against defender Richard Stearman for a foul on Darren Huckerby.

Leon McKenzie went on to convert from the spot to give the home side a 2-1 win, and Huckerby was unrepentant despite being accused of play-acting by the furious visitors.

"You can see for yoursefl it's a penalty," the former Manchester City man told the official Norwich website. "He's late and he's kicked me instead of the ball and it was a penalty."

"I took some stick for it, but I'm not worried about that. The lad made a mistake and it's a penalty."
