"That's what Iwan Roberts is all about. The big man has got in there and put it away and I'm delighted for him," Worthington said.
"What he has given the side over the last week alone has been absolutely phenomenal. There's no doubt that he thoroughly deserved that goal."
The result left Norwich in third place in the table just two points behind Leicester in the second automatic promotion spot.
"It was a very hard game there's no doubt about that and it always looked likely that one goal would settle it. I'm just glad it was scored by us.
"It was an excellent result against a very good side." said Worthington.
