Norwich manager Paul Lambert is relishing the pre-season visit of Premier League Newcastle on Saturday. The Canaries welcome Chris Hughton's newly-promoted side to Carrow Road as they continue their own preparations for playing in a higher division after last season's npower League One championship-winning campaign. They must first negotiate midweek fixtures against Stevenage and Dagenham, but Lambert's attention is firmly fixed on the visit of Newcastle. "This is a really great fixture for us to have. Newcastle are a huge club with a great fanbase," he told the club's official website. "When you look at what they achieved at Championship level last season, this is really going to be a great test for us."
