Norwich City boss Paul Lambert will face a personal Football Association hearing on Thursday after pleading guilty to a charge of improper conduct.If the FA chooses to punish Lambert with a touchline ban he will be forced to watch Sunday's East Anglia derby at Carrow Road from the stands.
The City boss was charged in the aftermath of last week's 3-3 Championship draw with Reading.
The game saw Lambert sent to the stands for leaving his technical area.
Striker Grant Holt was also given his marching orders against the Royals, but his three-match ban was later rescinded.
Norwich will face local rivals Ipswich Town for the first time in 19 months on Sunday, after the Canaries' relegation to League One in 2009 deprived the clubs of a derby day fixture last season.
And Lambert, who received a touchline ban from the FA last term after a defeat by Tranmere, will have to wait to find out if he will be in the home team's dugout for his first taste of the East Anglian derby.
