Lions midfielder linked

Peter Grant's search for a first signing of the summer continues with the latest player linked to the Canaries being both English and playing in the English league.

Grant's fetish for all things celtic (and indeed Celtic) has seen a host of Scots and Irish players touted for moves to Norfolk, but Millwall's Marvin Elliott represents a player with Championship experience who would find leaving South East London for East Anglia less of a wrench.

Elliott, 22, is apparently also wanted by Luton Town and Leeds United, managed by his former boss at the New Den Dennis Wise. Both sides have recently been relegated, however, and Leeds' parlous financial state means they are barred from making any signings for the moment. He has made 164 appearances for the Lions.
