Lupoli on his way

Norwich have released Arturo Lupoli from his loan deal, but the striker looks unlikely to return to parent club Fiorentina.

Lupoli has had limited opportunities at Carrow Road and, with Bryan Gunn having secured Alan Gow and Chris Killen for the rest of the season, was allowed to move on in search of the first team football he craves.

Sheffield United, who sold James Beattie to Stoke in January, are known to be on the lookout for a striker and have been linked with Lupoli, who began his career with Arsenal.
