Mackay Considers Red Card Appeal

Mackay was left fuming with referee Paul Taylor after he was harshly sent off for two bookable offences. If Mackay is suspended he will miss Norwich's home game with Cardiff on December the 13th.

"I've had a look at them again on Dave Carolan's laptop and I honestly can't see what either booking is about at all," said Mackay

"At the end of the day, it's the gaffer's decision, but I'm going to go in and have a word with him today and see what he thinks."

Mackay was left helpless after his sending off, just when the struggling canaries needed him most.

I was gutted to be there in the dressing room knowing that the boys were out there with ten men," said Mackay. "I hate missing any games, but knowing that I was now going to be suspended for the Cardiff game only irritates you even more. It's just very, very disappointing."

Malky is determined not to let the odd bad decision affect him or his team. He is also confident Norwich will be able to bounce back against Crewe on Saturday.

"We've just got to make sure that we get on with it and realise that over the course of a season these things will even themselves out," said Mackay.

"Very rarely do they change their mind. You can only hope that the next decision goes for you," he added

"Crewe had a fantastic result last Saturday to put three past Sunderland, but we're going into the game on Saturday all guns blazing."

Lets face it Malky it can't get much worse than the performance on Tuesday night! I don't think Mr Taylor will change his mind over these decisions, referees rarely do. Although Malky's suspension will give youngster Jason Shackell the chance to shine. Jim Brennong.....Jim Bernard.....Jim Bedlam........Jim Brennan (nearly forgot his name) is hopefully back in first team action aswell.

On the ball............
