Watford manager Malky Mackay is relishing the season opener at former club Norwich next Friday. Mackay was a Canary player between 1998 and 2004 and won promotion to the Premier League during his stay. He told Norwich's website: "I spent six really happy years at Carrow Road. "There are a lot of good people there so I'm delighted to start the season there live on TV. "I played with Paul Lambert as well at Celtic. "We have kept in touch since those days and now I'm delighted that he took over at Norwich and got them back in the Championship where they belong."
