Midfielder wanted by SPL side

Midfielder Simon Lappin, one of former Norwich boss Peter Grant's few remaining signings, could be set for a return to his native Scotland.

Lappin, 25, played 15 times for Motherwell in a loan spell for Mark McGhee's side last season, scoring twice. McGhee is now said to be keen to secure a full-time move for the former St Mirren man, who has a year left on his Carrow Road contract.
