Morocco draw another blank but stay alive

Youssef Safri played another 90 minutes as Morocco played out an entertaining goalless draw with hosts Egypt in Group A of the African Cup of Nations.

The result means that the Atlas Lions must defeat Libya and hope that Egypt lose to the Ivory Coast on Saturday. They must also turn around a four goal deficit in favour of the Pharaohs. Should Morocco fail, it is likely that Safri will be available for Norwich's trip to runaway leaders Reading on the 31st of January.
