Mulryne misses Clarets clash

Mulryne's booking last weekend, for a mistimed tackle on Owls striker Gerald Sibon, means he will miss the Canaries visit to Turf Moor on November 23th.

“As a midfield player you are always going to pick up one or two yellow cards for tackles – it happened to me in the game at Bradford City as well,” he said.

“But most of my cards this season have been for backchat to referees and I have got to learn to keep my temper in check.

“It's a stupid way to get booked and now I am being punished for it.

"Having just got back into the team after injury, missing another game was the last thing I wanted.

“It has come as a bit of a surprise because I have never been suspended before and now I am just going to have to try and keep my mouth shut and make sure it doesn't happened again.”
