Murray on his way

Peter Grant's midfield and defence options could be boosted before the weekend with the news that Rangers' Scottish International Ian Murray is on his way to Norwich for talks over a move.

Murray, 26, is expected to move on a one-year deal. He is in the last year of his contract at Ibrox and the Glasgow giants are keen to get him off the wage bill.

Grant confirmed his admiration for, and interest in, the player, while several news agencies are reporting that a deal is close if not done.
