Norwich City defender Michael Nelson is aware of increasing expectation around the club but is keen to rise above it.The Canaries are level on points with second-placed Cardiff City in the Championship, just six months after being promoted from League One.
And Nelson, 30, is sticking to boss Paul Lambert's plea to remain grounded.
"Everyone's got that hype and winning mentality, we've just got to make sure we don't get carried away and keep churning out performances," he said.
"It's a good habit-winning, it's something you get used to and you want to try and keep that feeling.
"We've got that mentality and the lads who've joined in the summer, as they've played and trained, it's been instilled in them."

City have won five of their last seven games to put themselves among the league's automatic promotion chasers and Lambert has made it clear he wants to add more strength to his side.
After the signing of Aaron Wilbraham from MK Dons last week the Norwich manager has two more targets in mind and Nelson insists any new arrivals will receive a warm welcome at Carrow Road.
"We're quite a tight group, as soon as lads come in they don't get left by the side, the lads make them feel welcome," he said.
"Regardless of who's come in you've seen over the time the manager's been here everyone's fitted in quite well."
