No Ash cash for City - yet

Steve McLaren's decision to name former Canary Dean Ashton in his inaugural England squad will not net any cash for Norwich at this stage.

The official Norwich website reveals that Ashton's £7million move to Upton Park in January did contain a stipulation that City be paid £125,000 in the event of the striker playing for England - but only in a competitive international match.
