Norwich predicted lineup vs Leicester - Premier League

Norwich already know they will be playing Championship football next season, but pride is still at stake for the Canaries as they still remain level with their final 2019/20 points tally.

Although Dean Smith's team come into this midweek game on a four-game losing streak, they face a Leicester side limping towards the end of the season without a win in seven in all competitions.

Here's a look at how Smith's team could line up.

GK: Tim Krul - Successive clean sheets against Brighton and Burnley in April feel a long time ago now, especially after conceding 12 in the last four games since.

RB: Max Aarons - Chances are he could be off in the summer if a decent offer comes in, although transfer talk around him has been much cooler this season.

CB: Sam Byram - Has been favoured at centre-back for the last two games, even with Ben Gibson available on the bench.

CB: Grant Hanley - Will return to being one of the best centre-backs in the league when he is back playing in the second tier.

LB: Dimitris Giannoulis - Brandon Williams could be protected from the spotlight after clashing with Norwich fans in the wake of facing West Ham.

CM: Lukas Rupp - Mathias Normann is still sidelined after suffering a thigh injury ahead of facing West Ham at the weekend.

CM: Billy Gilmour - A lack of consistent chances has denied the Scot the breakthrough season that was hoped for off the back of Euro 2020.

RM: Kieran Dowell - Has been a regular starter since early April after spending most of the season on the bench before then. His only goal and assist came against Manchester United recently.

AM: Pierre Lees-Melou - Norwich don't really have better options, but the Frenchman has been pushed forward as the team's 'number 10' in the last few weeks.

LM: Milot Rashica - Norwich are thought to be expecting transfer interest in the winger ahead of next season after an impressive campaign.

ST: Teemu Pukki - Needs one more goal to match his 2019/20 Premier League tally. The Finn has 10 to his name in the league so far.
