3000 people watched on at London Road as the Canaries took on League One side Peterborough.

Norwich fell behind on 23 minutes as Willock coverted David Fallon's cross. Norwich went into half time trailing but the introduction of Helveg and Jarvis to replace Brennan and Edworthy sparked Norwich to life.

They equalised with a moment of brilliance from Arsenal youngster David Bentley. The ball smashed to the back of the net as Bentley lashed onto a pass from Svensson.

Norwich could have won it late on but had to settle for the draw to keep up their good pre season form. Nigel Worthington was pleased with the way Norwich performed and especially with the talented Bentley.

"We have seen him (Bentley) do that for Arsenal," said Worthington. "We sent him out and he is full of confidence and not only did he do very well but he scored a very good goal.

"I am delighted with the performance. I thought some of the passing and football was first class. It was a good game and a lovely surface to play on."
