The first defeat of the summer for Glenn Roeder appears to be imminent as Derby County look set to announce the capture of Paul Connolly.
The Plymouth right-back, 24, is available on a free as his contract will end in the coming weeks. Paul Jewell told the Derby website that he hoped to conclude a deal pretty quickly for the former Pilgrims trainee.
