Reports in Ireland suggest Hoolahan deal done

Republic of Ireland winger Wes Hoolahan, marked out by Glenn Roeder as the best visiting player to Carrow Road last season, is on the verge of a £250,000 switch.

Hoolahan, 26, has been linked with the Canaries for several weeks but a wrangle between Blackpool and his previous club, Scottish side Livingston, over money had held things up.

It is now believed that this has been settled by FIFA and that his bargain price has been secured due to a release clause.

According to the Irish Independent, Hoolahan will sign a three-year deal.
