Roeder chases French striker

Powerful Wigan forward Antoine Sibierski is the latest name to be linked to Carrow Road.

The Eastern Daily Press believes that the 33-year-old, signed by Canaries boss Glenn Roeder for £2million during his time at Newcastle, is being lined up as a replacement for Dion Dublin.

Sibierski, who moved to the Magpies from Manchester City, is down the pecking order at Wigan with the likes of Emile Heskey and Marcus Bent among Steve Bruce's options. He is likely to welcome the chance of first team football but could command high wages.
