Yet another name can be added to the burgeoning list of players to be linked with Glenn Roeder's new-look Norwich.

Crystal Palace's Ben Watson, the subject of a reported £1.25million bid from Queens Park Rangers, has been mentioned by the Norwich Evening News as a potential target for Roeder, who has yet to sign a single new player this summer.

Watson, 22, scored in both legs of the Eagles' play-off semi-final defeat to Bristol City, as well as missing a penalty. He has played over 125 games for Neil Warnock's side and has in the past been linked with Premier League side Bolton Wanderers.

Relegated Reading are also said to be in the frame for the midfielder, who has 12 months left on his current deal at Selhurst Park.
