Glenn Roeder has added his third summer signing in the shape of Chelsea starlet Ryan Bertrand, while the fourth may also be a familiar face.

Bertrand, who became a popular figure at Carrow Road during a loan spell last season, will spend at east the first six months of next season back in Norfolk. The 18-year-old made 20 appearaces in a Norwich shirt last term in various roles down the left-hand-side.

The England under-19 international could be followed by international teammate Kieran Gibbs of Arsenal. Gibbs, also 18, made seven appearances in midfield last seson for the Canaries. He is unlikely to join immediately, however, as he is set to feature in the under-19 European Championships in the Czech Republic. The two-week tournament begins on the 14th of July.

Much less likely to occur, but still on Roeder's radar, is a repeat of the extremely successful loan of Manchester City's Ched Evans. Evans' new boss at the City of Manchester Stadium, Mark Hughes, is running the rule over his new charges at the moment. Roeder does not believe the Welsh international is for sale, but would be very interested in another loan deal for the youngster.
