Northern Ireland midfielder Sammy Clingan looks certain to leave Norwich with Coventry City having rekindled their interest. Clingan had been set to comlete a move, thought to be worth around £700,000, before Chris Coleman baulked at an agent's demands and pulled the plug. Now Coleman is satisfied that all parties have 'come to their senses' and a deal could be imminent. Norwich boss Bryan Gunn has already secured central midfield reinforcements in Matthew Gill and Owain Tudur Jones, and is likely to be able to unveil Preston winger Simon Whaley in the next day or so.
