Brighton and Hove Albion boss Dean Wilkins is hoping to bring in a goalkeeper from Norwich as cover for Michael Kuipers.

The Seagulls lost their second choice John Sullivan to injury at the weekend and will look to take advantage of their goalkeeping coach Paul Crichton's contacts at his former haunt of Carrow Road.

Peter Grant has brought in both Michael Gilks and David Marshall this summer, pushing Paul Gallacher and youngster Joe Lewis down the pecking order.

Gallacher is more likely to head back north of the border, with several Scottish Premierleague clubs, among them Hibernian and Rangers, said to have been interested in the Scotland international.

Grant is also keen for Lewis to gain experience of first team football having sent him on loan to Stockport at the end of last season.
